**The Madhya Pradesh High Court ordered the state to renew Som Distilleries' excise licences within 15 days. The Bhopal brewery has been shut since February, and management has said it supplied about half the company's volume. POWERGRID won its ninth transmission project of the year. Delta Corp and its subsidiaries received GST orders totalling ₹153.5 crore plus interest. And at KPI Green, more than a third of the votes cast went against a related-party resolution.**

## The one to read first

**Som Distilleries & Breweries** said the MP High Court [quashed the 18 June order](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/SDBL%5F26092026162518%5FSE%5Fintimation%5F26092026%5F.pdf) that had rejected renewal of its excise licences.

- The court directed renewal of all the company's manufacturing licences within 15 days of its 24 September judgment.
- It awarded the company ₹1 lakh in costs against the state, and preserved its right to claim damages for the closure.

The Bhopal licence was first suspended in February. In Q1 FY27, the company's total income fell 49% year on year. Its ratings have been cut three times since June.

## Deals

- **Quality Power** [called an EGM for 19 October](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/QPOWER1234%5F26092026220432%5FIntimationEGMNotice260926Sign.pdf) to approve buying up to 100% of Winwin Speciality Insulators, for up to ₹272.34 crore. Part of the price is to be paid by issuing 10,17,123 new shares to Winwin's sellers.
- **Adani Enterprises**' subsidiary Adani Global [bought 50% of Monvarex Aluminium Holding](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/nishant%5Fjoshi%5Fadani%5Fcom%5F26092026124830%5FAELIntimationsigned26092026.pdf), an Abu Dhabi company that has not yet started business. The filing says the purpose is to enter alumina, aluminium smelting and coal-to-gas in India.
- **KPI Green**'s subsidiary Sun Drops Energia [completed the purchase of 62.91%](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/KPIGLOBAL%5F26092026170110%5F36%5FIntimation%5Fof%5FAcqusition%5Fof%5FDEK%5Fby%5FSunDrops%5F26092026%5Fsigned.pdf) of DEK and Mavericks Green Energy. - **Dr Lal PathLabs** [completed the purchase of 80%](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/LALPATHLAB%5F26092026165355%5FUpdate%5Fon%5FAcquisition%5FGhana.pdf) of Sunshine Healthcare in Ghana, through its Dubai subsidiary.
- **Neogen Chemicals**: its step-down subsidiary Neogen Morita New Materials [will issue ₹76.80 crore of shares](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/NEOGEN%5F26092026195328%5FNMLPI.pdf) to its Japanese joint-venture partner, Morita.
- **H.G. Infra Engineering** [acquired the transmission SPV](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/HGINFRA%5F26092026144535%5FFinalIntimation.pdf) Ranipur Chunar Power Transmission from REC Power Development and Consultancy, as required by the bid for the project.
- **Baazar Style Retail** [allotted 10,00,000 shares at ₹328.25](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/BSRL2024%5F26092026220955%5FIntimationofConversionof10LWarrantsFinal.pdf) on conversion of warrants held by a non-promoter. **Cupid**, which holds the warrants, [approved converting up to 30,00,000](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/CUPID%5F26092026170609%5FSE%5FIntimation%5FConversion%5Fof%5FWarrants.pdf); 86,00,000 were outstanding before this.

## Orders and operations

- **POWERGRID** was [declared the successful bidder](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/POWERGRID1%5F26092026164111%5FNSEBSEReg30dt26092026%5FSigned.pdf) for a transmission system for evacuating power from Lakadia, Jam Khambhaliya and Jamnagar.  
  - The quoted annual transmission charge is ₹430.67 crore.
  - It is POWERGRID's ninth project won by competitive bidding in FY27.
- **NTPC Green Energy** [declared commercial operation](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/igsingh%5F26092026085453%5FSTXDISCLOSURE26092026%5FSigned.pdf) of the first 81.34 MW of its Kalasar solar project in Bikaner. The group's installed capacity is now 11,058.57 MW.
- **Chemplast Sanmar** [restarted its EDC plant at Karaikal](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/CHEMPLASTS%5F26092026090752%5FIntimation%5Fto%5FStock%5FExchange-%5FEDC%5FKaraikal%5F-Re%5FCommence%5Fsd.pdf) after the authorities provisionally revoked the prohibition order issued after the July incident.
- **LCC Projects** [received letters of commitment from Reliance Industries](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/LCCPROJECTS%5F26092026162746%5FLCC26092026.pdf) for civil works at two 400 kV substations in Kutch, worth ₹70.35 crore before GST.

- **Silver Touch Technologies** [received a purchase order](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/SILVERTUC%5F26092026144232%5FReceipt%5Fof%5FOrder.pdf) from ISRO's Space Applications Centre for high-end workstations. No value was disclosed.
- USFDA inspections:  
  - **Unichem**'s Goa formulation plant [ended with five observations](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/UNICHEMLAB%5F26092026165524%5FIntimationtoSE.pdf), which the company calls procedural. It has 15 days to respond.

## Capital

- **Rashtriya Chemicals and Fertilizers**' shareholders [approved a further public offering](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/RCF%5F26092026135421%5FSEIntimation%5F%5FMOA%5FFPO.pdf) of up to ₹1,500 crore. It still needs approval from the Department of Fertilizers and DIPAM.
- **POWERGRID**'s board [approved borrowing up to ₹10,000 crore](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/POWERGRID1%5F26092026165837%5FNSEBSEPI26092026%5Fsigned%5Fv1.pdf) from SBI as an unsecured term loan or line of credit.
- Ratings:

## Stakes

  - ₹79.32 crore of differential GST.
  - A further ₹37.11 crore on what the authority treats as a mixed supply taxable at 28%.
  - A penalty of ₹37.11 crore.
  - Interest at 18% on top.
- **Electrotherm**: the Enforcement Directorate [provisionally attached ₹25.08 crore](https://nsearchives.nseindia.com/corporate/ELECTHERM%5F26092026175358%5FSE%5FLetter.pdf) in two of its bank accounts. It also attached shares held by promoters Shailesh Bhandari (6,98,275) and Mukesh Bhandari (6,59,500).

KNAV was appointed in its place. The filing says the subsidiaries' auditors have not raised any concern about their affairs, and BSR & Co. remains the company's statutory auditor.
